Dedicated volunteers and active community members are the lifeblood of our Department, and we would be happy for you to join our team! There are multiple ways to get involved with the Red Bank Fire Department, each plays an integral part in keeping the residents and spaces of our community safe.

Active Members

The safety of our community rests in the hands of its members. Our Fire Department has been run by dedicated volunteers for nearly 150 years. Residents of the Borough of Red Bank who are 18 years or older may become active members of our Fire Companies.

Active Associate Members

Our coverage areas span portions of Monmouth County, and we welcome residents of Monmouth County who live within five miles of the Borough of Red Bank to join our Department. Residents who are 18 years or older may become active associate members of our Fire Companies.

Age 14-17

Junior Firefighter Program

It is never too early to start helping your community. If you are an aspiring firefighter or community hero between the ages of 14 and 17, and are a resident of Borough of Red Bank or of Monmouth County residing within five miles of the Borough of Red Bank, you are eligible to join our Junior Firefighter Program program.
