Just after 9:00am on Tuesday April 26, the Red Bank Fire Department responded to a reported gas leak on Broad Street. 68 set up command after it was confirmed that a contractor struck a gas line during excavation for road work. Broad Street was ordered evacuated until New Jersey Natural Gas sealed the leak.  Units 91, 93, 95, 96, Rescue 2, and Fire Police responded. Little Silver Fire Department and Northside Ladder of Tinton Falls provided mutual aid. 3201 responded for EMS support.
